Rebecca provides therapy for adults experiencing a wide range of emotional issues that are causing them distress & are impacting their general wellbeing and ability to thrive.
"I am not what has happened to me. I am what I choose to become"
- Carl Jung
She offers a confidential, safe and non-judgemental setting in which to explore your concerns with the aim of gaining insight, recognising and engaging strengths, and restoring equilibrium.
Being able to discuss your feelings openly gives you the opportunity to reframe and explore patterns of behaviour and ways of thinking that might be self-defeating or holding you back. It also enables you to communicate more effectively and positively with others, and to build greater compassion and understanding towards yourself and others.
Rebecca works integratively and collaboratively with her clients.
Rebecca is mindful of the subjective nature of each person’s life experience, culture, religious beliefs and world view, drawing from her training in psychodynamic, attachment, solution focussed, narrative, humanistic, positive psychology and trauma methodologies.
Therapy involves commitment both in terms of time and money. It also requires a dedicated engagement and willingness on the part of the client to share their life story and implement the necessary changes in between sessions in order to move forward and thrive emotionally. This can take time and is not a quick fix.
Rebecca has had the privilege of working extensively across cultures over the years, in Singapore, the UK and the Middle East, and welcomes everyone to her practice.
